Well, we have another nutty week ahead of us. Monday and Friday both have strange scheduling, but I think we’ll still manage to get a lot of stuff accomplished. 🙂 Here’s what we’ll be doing:
Language Arts: We’re deep into the world of To Kill a Mockingbird this week. We’ll continue reading and doing accompanying activities. Most of our Language Arts efforts will be focused on the novel, but we’ll also squish some grammar in there. 😉
Math: We will be finishing up a section on number theory review (factors, multiples, and primes, oh my!) and starting a section on multiplying and dividing decimals (review). Now that we’ve finished with all of the problems and labs from Perfectly Perilous Math (*sad sigh*), Grace will begin reading I Wish I Knew That Math. While this book seems pretty interesting, it doesn’t provide all sorts of nifty problems and labs. Still, it seems pretty packed with good info.
Science: In Spectrum Science, Grace will begin a unit on physical science. We’ll also be completing the first lesson from Middle School Chemistry on water and molecules. (This site is holy moly fantastic, by the way.)
Social Studies: It’s another week in Ancient China for us. (Actually, two or three more weeks.)
Grace’s Choice: Who can say? Last week she chose Science Wizardry and puzzle-solving.
We don’t have any field trips planned for the week. Of course, that doesn’t mean we won’t take one. 😉
Yep, it looks like a pretty tame week ahead. (Always subject to change.)
We hope you have a fantastic week!
